PARTY IDEAS

So, I'm a bit behind in planning John William's birthday party this year. Don't worry...if you haven't received an invitation, no one has because I just can't seem to settle on a theme. So, today I ask John William what kind of party he wants to have....I suggest some of the things he's been into lately...a fire truck party or a swimming party???? No, he tells me that he would like a UPS Man party (United Parcel Service) Wondering where he came up with that? He has always had a fascination with the UPS trucks and we see them quite a bit in our neighborhood. He gets really excited every time we spot one. Lately he has been waiting for this robot to come in the mail. I told him that we had to order this robot because he wasn't in the store and the UPS man would deliver him to us. So, he has anxiously been awaiting the UPS man. So, when you think birthday party, you think packages, who brings the packages (we have a lot of out of town family and friends) .....the UPS MAN! Now it all makes sense, right?

I checked back with him several times today, giving him other options for the party but he continued to insist on a UPS party. The only time he started to waver was when I asked about a Robot party. ok, we can do both right? So, I've been busy researching UPS decor, costumes, and coming up with ideas. Come on...you're a bit curious aren't you? Aren't you? Bet you have never been to a UPS party before...me neither, but my little brain is a churning. I going down to talk with the guys in brown tomorrow to see what I need to do to borrow their truck! Do you think they do birthday parties?
