Kit Carson Park & The Magic Circle

Posted by Picasa
This park is certainly magical. It's hidden in Escondido. It has this crazy, colorful sculpture garden hidden in the middle of the 300+ acre park. We had no idea what we would find when we got there. It was just beautiful. There was a duck pond, the sculpture garden, trails, playgrounds, and a creek with waterfall designed just for kids to play in. It was a perfect day to be there. The sun was shining..one of the warmest days we've had in awhile. Warm enough for the kids to get in the creek and get wet. We came prepared with tonka trucks and they worked hard that day. The boys spent hours moving water, rocks, dirt & leaves. We had to drag them away from there! Next time we will be sure to pack a picnic. I can't wait to go back..it could be my new favorite park!
