Legoland

We just love legoland.  I like it because it's clean, never crowded, easy to navigate and has a ton of things to do for little kids.  John Will loves it because it has bionicles, rides, trains, water to play in and a big, huge lego city.  Legoland was nice enough to send us 4 free passes so that we could bring our friends with us.   So last week we went to Legoland twice in two days!!    One day we got to go with Shawna and John William's beloved Faith.   Oh, what fun we had.

This is mini-city.  It might be John William's favorite part of Legoland.  Here he is standing in front of New York City...all built with legos!  Amazing isn't it?  Some of the cars drive around, there is a subway that moves, music playing.  The detail is incredible.  He could spend hours in this area of the park.  I usually have to drag him out of here.

Legoland has an amazing variety of things to do, including a splash/water park for the kids to play in.  It wasn't all that warm the day we were there, but that didn't stop the kids from playing in the water and enjoying every minute of it.

Always a favorite, the train ride

It was such a fun day and extra special because we got to spend some time with Faith and Shawna outside of daycare.   John Will has been going to Shawna's house two mornings a week for the last two years.  It has been such a wonderful environment for him and a place where I know that he is always safe and loved. June 17th was his last day at Shawna's and next week he will start preschool.  It's hard to believe that two years have passed so fast and now he is ready to move to preschool!  Anyway, this was a great way to celebrate the last two years.  We are so thankful for their friendship and look forward to a fun summer and more playdates!
