Next Stop Eureka, CA

It was hard to leave Dillon Beach but we had to move on. After taking a little drive the previous day on Highway One, we realized that our stomachs could not take the windy roads. So, we hit the freeway, changed our plans and drove 5 hours to Eureka, CA. It was not quite what we expected but we did make it just in time for their annual vintage car parade. It was completely random that we stumbled onto this little festivity and it was just what we needed. John Will was in car heaven...the cars were cool & loud, the horns were honking, people were waving and throwing candy. Couldn't have done better if we planned it. Isn't that the great thing about road trips?

Reminds me of my younger days and watching Dukes of Hazard

This was my favorite...a wooden car
It reminded us of chitty chitty bang bang and our friend Aiden
