John William had his annual physical this week and he came up as 50th percentile in weight and 50th percentile in height. WOW! For the last 4 years, we haven't even come close to being on the chart for weight. (his weight is something they have been monitoring since birth and he's always gained slower than the docs would prefer) So, I don't know if his peers have stopped eating or are just losing some of those baby rolls but he just landed smack in the middle of the chart with the whopping weight of 30.4 lbs. I had to ask her to check the results twice, because I was sure that she was mistaken. The doctor's have been threaten us with dietitians and steroids for the last 2 years, so I can't explain the relief that I feel. No yucky stuff for my little guy!
Long and lean, he came in at 40 inches which is a huge gain and probably explains why his legs have been hurting at night.
I'm so thrilled, I may just frame the progress report!

- BECAUSE..i want to capture life's little moments, before they slip away. BECAUSE I never started a baby book and I can't seem to scrapbook fast enough. BECAUSE he'll be all grown up before I know it, and I'll have this to look back on. BECAUSE it's a great way to share with those we love. BECAUSE he's just so darn cute. BECASUE I'm so blessed to stay home and enjoy these special moments. BECAUSE I need to be reminded that memories are more important than things. BECAUSE I want to slow down and enjoy the little things. BECAUSE We need to be challenged to explore the world around us. BECAUSE my memory is failing, if I don't get it down quickly, I'm sure to forget. BECAUSE it's so much fun, I have to share. BECAUSE I always want to remember.
