This is our little paige. She disappeared about a year ago. We all still miss her, including grizzy. Shortly after she went missing, John William found a little stuffed dog that looked like her, he named her paige and he sleeps with her most nights. Today, we went to the pet store and he brought his stuffed paige, so that he could "find one that looks just like her with spots." He went around to all the cages, holding up his stuffed dog to compare them. He found a dalmation, which was close but it was quite a bit bigger than little paige. I don't think that a week goes by that he doesn't ask about her whereabouts. Tonight was no different. As he was going to bed tonight, he said, "paige-y dissappeared.....need magic to bring her back...but I don't have magic...I need it because paige-y is gone." He was so broken hearted. I sure wish that we had a little magic...She was so special.
